About Flyball Fever

Flyball Fever began life in December 2008, as a forum on a free web hosting site. As the membership grew, and the host became overloaded, the decision was made to get a domain name and have more control over the design. As the idea developed, it was soon decided to have an adjoining website too.

Hopefully Flyball Fever will be a valuable resource to the flyballing world, along with the BFA website which holds valuable contact information, statistics and a discussion board. Supplementary to that site, Flyball Fever will have team information, reviews, articles, singles & pairs information, and much more to help you get your flyball fix. Whether you are a seasoned competitor or a beginner looking to start, we hope that you will enjoy Flyball Fever.

Katie Ford is a 20 year old Vet Student, currently in her third year of study in Liverpool. She is originally from Huddersfield, where she frequently returns to see her parents and, probably more likely, to see her dogs. Katie became involved in flyball in 2004, before moving to Leeds 'Owlers in 2007. She started off running a lurcher, Poppy, who is now retired, and now runs her collie x retriever, Jet. Jet runs in Barney/Ghost 'Owlers and was part of the team that won division 4 at the British Championships 2008, and division 7 in 2009. Katie also competes in agility with Jet and Poppy, and competed at Crufts in 2007 for agility, flyball and obedience. When not running Jet, she can usually be seen boxloading, scribing, ringpartying or generally keeping very busy!
