Pairs Seeding Rules

These rules were established by Flyball Fever, and may not be the same rules you find in competition. Please check before submitting your time!

  1. Both dogs must have run over the same layout dimensions required for sanctioned tournaments.
  2. Jumps should be set at the height of the smallest dog of the pair, or at full height if neither dog is a height dog.
  3. Times must have been taken from Pairs competitions only, not from splits taken in Open/Multibreed/Starters tournaments.
  4. Both dogs must have completed the flyball run successfully according to the rules of sanctioned tournments.
  5. A dog may appear on the Pairs Seedings List more than once providing it:
    • is paired with a different dog, either at the same or at a competition held on a different day.
    • is paired with the same dog, but at a competition held on a different day.
  6. Pairs will only be counted on the Multibreed Seedings List if the second dog is registered as a different breed to the first dog.
  7. Pairs will only be counted on the ABC Seedings List if both dogs in the pair are registered as a breed other than Border Collie/WSD.
  8. Pairs will be included on the Border Collie/WSD Seedings List if both dogs in the pair are registered as a Border Collie/WSDs.
